2-141 Monster butt
Kemi is pretty to the point.
In sickness and in health, blergh
And we’re back. The last few weeks have been dreadful. First the flu really, REALLY took me down. It’s been two weeks and I’m still on antibiotics for a second infection that took advantage of me having the flu. Can’t remember the last time I felt so sick for so long.
Then, last week, a dear friend of my passed away completely out of the blue, the third one within three years. Life and death, healthy and sick… so close together. The birth of my son, death of a friend… well… it’s a part of being alive I guess.
Physically and psychologically it was a blow, but I’ll get back up. With help of my family, friends, all the smaller, beautiful things in life and sometimes by escaping into Foolish Lego.
At least the year can only get better!
Ah Kemi… Where would Dwaas be without his guardian angel…
Glad your feeling a bit better. At least physically. There is some pain you just can cure and learn to live with. Keep going forward my friend.
I believe the jury is still out on wether or not Kemi is an angel 😉
I love the lighting in this, and I love how you so carefully build a chaotic scene. It is so much harder to build chaos or deterioration on purpose than it is to just make a pretty new building or room.
I used your cardboard box trick a few episodes ago where Oscar and Bosie are opening clothing boxes.
You’re so right.
However, my daughter manages to carefully create chaotic scenes within the hour each day 😛
I’m so sorry for your loss. While death and birth may be a part of our life experiences, that doesn’t make them any easier. Im glad you have the wonderful support of your family and friends during this sad time.
Regarding the comic – I really like the full spread on the first panel. Have you done that before? It’s a good look!
Thank you Shelly!
I didn’t do a full spread before and I have to say that I like it better than I thought. I like that it gives a much better impression of the environment the scene is taking place in.
I may experiment a bit with layout in future episodes… but, on the other hand, I want to experiment with to much at the same time. I’d better take it slow 🙂
