2-127 Dwaas is a nice monster

Yes, it’s certainly nice of Dwaas that he showed up in person to tell her… except for the fact that he really came for something completely different that is.

Small rant on social media

I once read that people worried that sitcoms would become more difficult to develop and write for. The reason for this is the ever-increasing use of social media and telephone’s. Many sitcoms are base around situations were people/ families visit each other; face to face interactions. And in this world were many things are dealt with via messengers (like Telegram or the one from Facebook) or e-mail there are less and less face to face interactions. Also, telephones are constantly around at houses, and in a way it feels that there are less people talking to each other whilst spending more time staring at a screen. Maybe I am wrong, but it does feel that way.  Anyway, sitcoms are still around but it does feel as if the dominance of smartphones and such is downplayed in them.

I’m trying to use mine less these days. Yet, it’s difficult. As today’s quote by Haruki Murakami states; “Cell phones are so convenient that they’re an inconvenience.” And that is the sad truth these days.
