Welcome back!
Thanks! Happy to be back 🙂
Couldn’t agree more. Those past 6 months seemed very very long. Glad they are gone.
Strange time for Darryl to give up on everything like this. I think he is losing it… Well until he gets some taste of the end of everything LOL.
BTW, out of subject here, but do you, or any of you guys, know a good website to learn about microscale building?
About microscale building:
http://thebrickblogger.com/2013/11/building-with-lego-micro-scale-building/ (I like the brickblogger on the whole, especially their building techniques series)
http://www.classic-castle.com/howto/articles/microscalecastlebuildingtechniques.pdf (castles!)
And ofcourse:
https://www.google.com/search?q=microscale+building+lego&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 There is so much to be found. Maybe it’s best to look at all these models that are out there and learn.
I’ve always wanted to do something microscale to get a larger scale Eno in the comic… but I couldn’t figure it out myself. What are your plans?
I found a great PDF on several buildings technics (and it’s in French!) that could be used for a lot of building styles (micro and minifig scale, even oversized). I intend to use it for a new comic project I’m starting working on. Combining microscaling and forced perspective are required to make things happened. Do you know the video game Battle Realms?
No I don’t know the videogame (I don’t play many videogames out of selfprotection, If I start….. I’ll never stop).
I did try a bit of forces perspective in the 730-project sometimes, I always thought it was very difficult. Cool that you’re working on a new project with it!
Very old video game (2001). Pretty cool though. Forced perspective seems really interesting to work with with LEGO. Yet, I still need to master the art of micro-building
More and more sun. More happy.
