1-214 Certainty
Still… a bold move for both I guess.
Certainty
First; thank you all for your support! It means a lot to me.
Then; certainty… The past weeks have made me think about this word. And again I reached the conclusion that all cliché’s concerning certainty are true… there is no certainty in life… except for death. Death can take your body away from you within a heartbeat. If it isn’t Scondite shooting a laser-beam straight through your chest (a fairly slim chance… I know), it may be your heart simply giving up or something else which takes your breath away. So you better live your life to the fullest and enjoy it more than you are irritated by all the little annoyances in life. I certainly have gotten a wake-up call.
So what is most important in your life? Health, family, friends, happiness, maybe even money…. besides these (mostly) obvious ones, what are the little things in life you enjoy doing? Simply do them…

It always amazed me how we can all live our lives acting like death doesn’t exist… That may be a blessing after all… Somehow, this selfish state of mind allow us to do all the things we do. Just a thought…
That said I’m really happy to read Foolish Lego again, one of those little things in life you were talking about… I’ll try not to be the obvious kind here but, today I try to complete my Lego Minifigs Monsters collection, and I got the ones I wanted (still missing 3 though) I felt like a child opening nearly 15 packs of those… Priceless…
Would you be interested in a rock n roll Dwaas? I have a handful of those…
Good points Pi3rk. For my own use, I nuance your vision a little; I don’t think we have to act as if death doesn’t exist, but at the same time we mustn’t fear death. The reminder of death can be a blessing in disguise! It helps me focus on what I think is most important in life. This reminds me of one of the well known speeches Steve Jobs once gave at Stanford University and then the part “My third story is about death”. (if you’d like to read or see it; http://news.stanford.edu/news/2005/june15/jobs-061505.html ).
Thank you for your offer on the Rock and roll Dwaas, I too have a couple of them, I guess that one is most prominent in the box; maybe you can make another reader of this comic more happy with your offer 🙂 ! Which ones do you still need?
I miss the skeleton, the spectr, the banshee. Won’t buy anymore though, I was looking for the 3 zombies and the wolf at “all cost” LOL… I have 3 dwaas, 3 mad scientist, 1 tigerwoman, 1 plant guy all spare.
BTW I’ll read the link you posted.
