1-209 Crazy!
He’s not crazy…. is he?
Hugh Howey’s Wool
Yep, still on vacation! One of the best things is that this is the time that I finally have time to read some books. This year I took some books along written by Hugh Howey. “Wool”, “Shift” and “dust”. I never heard about this books until Dave over at “bricks of the dead” reviewed Wool. After reading that I read the first short story of Wool, loved it and now I’m hoping to get all absorbed by these books. I’m not really into reality or non-fiction (with some exceptions being a few books by Dan Brown) and love a good fantasy or science fiction. Took me a long time to find something new, so if you have any suggestions on good books to read for my next vacation… Let me know!
What kind of books do you read on vacation?

The same things I read at other times. 😛 The Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, The Belgariad, The Malloreon etc.
A yes, TLOTR and Silmarillion, I read them for the first time when I was in high school…. 26 years ago already… 🙁 Still love them, and appreciate them more as years go by and after I reread them a few times.
Thanks for the other two names; I never heard of Belgariad and Malloreon, I will look them up!
I have a great collection of books a love to read again and again… it’s a 10 (actually 5 + 5) books series called “The Chronicles of Amber”. Started reading it when I was 12. Still reading it 20 years later. However, I’m no bookworm at all…
These I have to look up too. I’m no bookworm either, I practically only read in vacations. Reading outside of my vacations is difficult because of time-restraints and falling asleep, when I try to read in bed. Sometimes I manage to read when a long expected book comes out, I had that with the Harry Potter series and now I’m waiting for a Dutch fantasy-book to come out… so hopefully I will manage to stay awake by then 🙂
