Effect worked for me… In fact I was trying to figure out why Willy was a “ghost” and the next panel “not a ghost”… Well that was just not Willy… I was fooled like little Amida!!!

Even my wife, my first critic, was confused at first. One big give-away is Scondite’s cane though.
It’s sometimes really hard to tale things to others as obvious as you imagine them yourself when telling a story, even more for a comic… One of the biggest challenge IMO. I have to tell you, you’ve been pretty good at that so far. Great story tellers are!
